What’s Included
Curriculum
Our puppy curriculum begins at 3 days old, incorporating daily handling exercises, socializing, and crate training. We raise well adjusted puppies that know the world is a safe place, people are kind, and dogs are friendly.
Life-Saving Recall
Our puppies are imprinted with life-saving recall words like "puppy puppy puppy" and empowered with the word "Yes!" Adopted from the Badass Breeder curriculum. These are invaluable gifts that are passed on to you.
30 Day Health Insurance
We partner with Trupanion for pet health insurance. Your puppy comes with 30 days of no cost health insurance coverage.
The new owner must activate the policy within the first 24 hours from pickup, or the coverage is forfeited.
Veterinarian Clearance
We provide a comprehensive vet clearance, the first vaccine, deworming, and microchipping.
Temperament Testing
One of the most important aspects of our process is giving our puppies a voice in their placement. We try to set the puppies and their new owners up for success by implementing the Empowered Badass Breeder Temperament Test. This critical step allows us to match the puppies with their owners needs, ensuring a strong bond and a fulfilling journey together.
Guarantee/Warranty
We stand behind our puppies with a 1-year health guarantee/warranty.

Moyen is a descriptor of a poodle's size.
Moyen is the French word for "medium," sometimes described as a Klein poodle as well.
Moyen poodles typically stand between 15 and 20 inches tall at the shoulder, and weigh between 20 and 40 pounds. This makes them larger than miniature poodles, but on the smaller end of traditional standard poodles.
Moyen poodles are not an American Kennel Club (AKC) poodle designation in the United States. AKC recognizes standard poodles, miniature poodles, and toy poodles as distinct size categories. So a Moyen poodle falls under a standard poodle designation for AKC purposes.
However, Moyen poodles are recognized by many other poodle organizations and clubs, including the Australian Kennel Club, the Canadian Kennel Club, and the United Kennel Club.
Whether you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, a talented performer, or a cuddly lap dog, the Moyen poodle has got you covered.

Currently, our specialty lies in the breathtakingly intense red coloration of our poodles. We could have both solid red and red and white abstract variations.
Abstract poodles have a combination of solid color patches along with white markings. The white markings can appear on specific areas of the body, such as the chest, belly, paws, and face. The extent and distribution of the white markings can vary, creating unique and individual patterns on each poodle. .

The intense red color of poodles is a relatively recent development. The MC1R (Melanocortin 1 Receptor) gene that is responsible for this color was first identified in the 1980s, and since then, poodle breeders have been working to develop and refine the intense red color.
Variations or mutations in this gene can result in different coat colors, including red, apricot, and various shades of cream.
We're excited to be part of a community working to develop and preserve the intense red color in poodles.
Red poodle coats can fade over time due to several factors, including genetics, sun exposure, and the natural aging process.
It's important to note that not all red poodles will experience significant coat fading, and the extent of fading can vary among individuals.
Regular grooming, proper coat care, and minimizing exposure to harsh environmental elements can help maintain the color intensity of a red poodle's coat for as long as possible.

Our Poodle parents have undergone health screening to ensure the well-being of their puppies.
Genetic Testing by Embark: We've taken extra measures to ensure our puppies inherit only the best traits. Through genetic testing, we've gained valuable insights into their lineage, health, and potential.
The OFA Eye Test: Rest assured, their beautiful peepers are clear and sparkling. Their vision is top-notch, providing a solid foundation for healthy and happy puppies.

We go the extra mile to ensure that our poodle parents and their adorable puppies are not just cute, but also have amazing personalities to match!
Comprehensive Temperament Testing: Our puppies undergo temperament testing to assess their individual characteristics, behaviors, and temperament traits based on the Empowered Baddass Breeder Puppy Evaluation Curriculum, created by Jeanette Forrey.
This valuable insight helps us match our poodle puppies with the perfect families and ensures a harmonious and joyful bond from day one.

We do not have a kennel facility. We operate as a home-based breeding operation. While we do crate train our dogs for their safety and comfort, we best serve our pups by providing them with a loving family environment. We also utilize guardian homes as part of our breeding program. Poodles thrive when they are an integral part of the family unit, enjoying companionship and close bonds with their humans. Currently, we can not offer this level of attention as a kennel.

Upon successful completion of our application process, our program offers approved individuals the opportunity to obtain AKC breeding rights.

To prioritize the health and well-being of our family-raised puppies, we do not allow visits to our homes.
The safety of our puppies is of the utmost importance, and as such, we minimize exposure to potential risks. Puppies are not vaccinated when they go home at 8 weeks old, and they are susceptible to parvovirus. We strongly advise against taking your puppy to public places where other dogs frequent, such as pet stores or dog parks.
As an extra precaution, we recommend refraining from wearing shoes inside your home until your puppy is fully vaccinated to minimize the risk of introducing pathogens from outside.
Follow our Facebook™, Instagram™, and email newsletters to get plenty of photos and updates of puppies, parents, and upcoming litters.

Our goal in the next year is to partner with a local trainer to be able to donate a service dog to a home in need.
