Puppy curriculum
We perform temperament testing to honor each puppy’s unique personality and ensure they are matched with the right family and their specific needs.
Temperament testing evaluates a puppy’s unique behavioral traits, such as confidence, human focus, touch tolerance, prey drive, and assertiveness.
WE TEMPERAMENT TEST
Our Puppies
Our puppies are imprinted with essential recall cues, such as responding to "puppy, puppy, puppy" and the affirmative "Yes!" This training is crucial for their safety and responsiveness.
Life-Saving Recall Training
We conduct temperament assessments to understand each puppy's unique personality. This process aids in matching puppies with families based on compatibility, ensuring a harmonious and fulfilling relationship.
Temperament Testing
Our puppies receive comprehensive veterinary care, including health clearances, vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. We ensure they are in optimal health before joining their new families.
Health and Veterinary Care
We prioritize positive socialization by handling and playing with our puppies daily, involving adults, children, and other animals. We also expose them to different textures, environments, and objects to foster adaptability and confidence.
Socialization and Desensitization
Around two weeks of age, as puppies begin to hear, we introduce them to a variety of sounds. This exposure includes common household noises, outdoor environments, and other animals, helping them become comfortable with diverse auditory stimuli.
Sound Training
To ease the transition into their new homes, we start puppies on basic potty training routines and introduce them to crate training. This foundation helps them develop good habits and reduces stress for both puppies and their new families.
Potty Training and Crate Training
Since poodles require regular grooming, we begin gentle grooming sessions early. This desensitizes puppies to the grooming process, making future grooming appointments less stressful and helping them feel comfortable with handling and care.
Grooming Experience
Starting from day 3 to 16, we implement ENS and ESI protocols. ENS involves gentle handling exercises that promote neurological development, enhancing the puppies' immune systems, cardiovascular health, and stress tolerance. ESI introduces puppies to various scents, improving their scent recognition abilities and adaptability.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
Our puppies are raised right in our home, alongside their dam and sire. This close-knit, family-centered environment ensures early bonding, stability, and a strong foundation of trust, giving puppies a sense of security and familiarity.
